A sole mission
At Sole Spirit Foundation, we’re on a mission to level the sideline by making cheer accessible for every athlete. We believe spirit shouldn’t depend on a school’s budget. Talent, teamwork, and pride exist everywhere, and every cheerleader deserves the chance to take the mat or stand on the sideline with confidence.
Sole Spirit provides essential gear, shoes, uniforms, equipment, and program support to under-resourced middle and high school cheer teams across the Bay Area. By removing financial barriers, we’re helping young athletes show up fully, feel included, and celebrate the sport they love.
We champion equity. We uplift community. We put cheer within reach, one team, one athlete, one pair of shoes at a time.
Why the Bay Area? Why now?
The Bay Area is a place of brilliance, diversity, and extraordinary potential, yet it is also a region where the gap between schools with abundant support and schools stretched thin is impossible to overlook. Within a few miles you can find programs with every advantage and others where families are working tirelessly just to cover the basics. Behind every one of those programs are young athletes with big dreams and the determination to pursue them.
Cheer and STUNT should never be reminders of what a school cannot afford. They should not be the reason an athlete feels underprepared, out of place, or left behind. ​
STUNT is rapidly becoming a competitive pathway to college scholarships, yet many high schools cannot participate when the cost of shoes, uniforms, mats, safety equipment, and coaching support is far beyond their reach. When a school lacks the resources to take part, its athletes lose access to opportunities that students in better funded programs can pursue. Those opportunities open doors to college, leadership, and long term success
We focus on the Bay Area because the need is urgent and the impact is immediate. Passion lives in every community, not only in the ones with strong budgets. Spirit and opportunity should belong to every athlete, regardless of budget or zip code.
Sole Spirit exists to close this gap. We stand in the space between wanting to belong and being fully included. Our purpose is to make sure that in a region known for opportunity, every cheerleader and every STUNT athlete has a real chance to participate, grow, and shine.
